California's PROMISE

California's PROMISE is a statewide partnership designed to implement the 5 Promises to youth through AmeriCorps, including Healthy Starts, Caring Adults, Safe Places, Marketable Skills, and Opportunities to Serve.

Family Programs

CalSERVES' Family Programs involve a partnership with the Santa Rosa Junior College ESL Department and local school districts to provide support in learning English for the whole family.

After School Programs

CalSERVES partners with local schools to implement high quality after school programs that provide youth a safe and productive place to be with positive adult role models. These programs feature academic mentoring, character education, service learning, nutrition education, physical education, and a variety of engaging enrichment activities.

Reading Programs

Reading Programs of CalSERVES engage AmeriCorps members and volunteers as reading tutors for struggling readers throughout Santa Rosa.

Training Programs

CalSERVES is the Regional Learning Center in Region 1 for After School. In this capacity, CalSERVES provides a range of services to after school programs in the region in addition to its training programs that are designed to support paraprofessionals in national service, mentoring, character education, nutrition, and PE.
