CalSERVES provides opportunities for participants to discover passions, realize potential, and express power.

Mission

CalSERVES develops and supports high quality programs for youth and families in underserved communities across the State. CalSERVES cultivates community leaders, builds organizational capacity, and models best practices. CalSERVES AmeriCorps members provide one-on-one literacy tutoring, implement after school programs, and facilitate volunteer opportunities to support youth and families.

Organizations Goals

• Participants have the opportunity for leadership and learning through service.
• Participants support children and youth to advance academically, socially, emotionally, and physically.
• Participants have the training and ongoing support they need to develop both personally and professionally.
• Participants create meaningful opportunities for volunteers to sustain the system of support for youth and families.
